The girls never are supplemented feed from the mills. They get all the food from the land that consist of various plants and bugs with clean water running through a canal provided by Gulf Coast Water Authority. This fresh naturally filtered water runs through 100s of miles of aqueducts which is used by hundreds of farmers and rancher in Brazoria county. Typically real authentic pasture raised eggs on this much NON GMO land will run you close to $9 A DOZEN. We are offering less than week old none refrigerated or washed eggs for $6 A DOZEN. Why not wash them? Farm fresh eggs have something called a BLOOM, which is a thin membrane that protect the contents of the eggs from bacteria and other harmful things. This bloom is natural and will keep the egg fresh for up to 1 MONTH without being refrigerated. Why do we not refrigerate our eggs? Like many other fresh item, the cold air alters the taste of the item in a negative way. The best egg is a room temperature never refrigerated egg!
